Localization

The consultancy 'dermatolog.eu' of prof. Radoslaw Spiewak is located in Jozefa Kustronia street No. 2, in the southern part of Krakow, between the A4 Motorway and crossroads of ul. Zakopianska, ul. Jugowicka, and ul. Zawiła.

Easy access by car and public transportation: We are located near the A4 motorway junction "Kraków Południe - Zakopiańska" when coming from the West, and A4 motorway junction "Kraków Łagiewniki" when driving from the East - just 1 km in the direction toward city center. We also are located only 1 km from tram terminus Borek Fałęcki, 700 m from railway station Kraków Swoszowice and 400 m from bus stop Góra Borkowska. We are located at the beginning of the ul Kustronia street, corner with ul. Kierzkowskiego.

How to get there

How to arrive with public transport?

The train is best and fastest way to reach us from Krakow centre. The railway station "PKP Kraków Swoszowice" is located approx. 700 m (10 min walk) from our address. Regional trains (Regio, Koleje Małopolskie) stop at the station every 20-30 min, these are services Kraków Główny - Zakopane, Kraków Główny - Bielsko-Biała, Kraków Główny - Oświęcim and Kraków Główny - Sucha Beskidzka. The time of travel between the central station (PKP Kraków Główny) and our station PKP Kraków Swoszowice is about 15-20 min.

From the railway station to our consultancy: Leave the station "PKP Kraków-Swoszowice" through the main exit of the station building. Take the street that begins with stairs and wheelchair ramp (ul. Hubalczyków) vis-a-vis the exit. Follow the street till the end (ca. 200 m) and turn right to ul. Armii Kraków street (slightly up the hill).

After ca. 400 m, on the 5-arm crossroads of ul. Armii Kraków, ul. Siarczana and ul. Kustronia turn left and follow the ul. Kustronia street. After 100 m, you will find us at the corner with ul. Kierzkowskiego. The main entrance is located in ul. Kierzkowskiego. We have a lift platform for people with impaired mobility. Please let us know if you need to use it.

Note:

• The walking route from the railway station "PKP Kraków Swoszowice" to our consultancy as suggested by Google Maps (2024) is not the best one - more on this below.
• The street stairs to ul. Hubalczyków street are fitted with a ramp for wheelchairs, however, the initial part of the street (ok. 50 m) is rather steep, which may an obstacle for people with mobility limitations or travelling on a wheelchair. There is a bypass via ul. Kolejarzy to ul. Kąpielowa and subsequently along ul. Armii Kraków street - this is the route suggested by Google Maps (2004). However, this route is 500 m longer, and a part of it goes along a winding and busy street that has no pavement.

Tramway: the nearest stop is "Borek Fałęcki", which is terminus for trams No. 8, 22, 50.

Bus: the nearest stop is "Góra Borkowska" for bus lines No. 151, 175, 191, 204, 214, 215, 225, 235, 243, 245, 254, 255, 265, 275, 285, 293, 475, 610 and 915.

From the main railway station "Kraków Główny" go to the underground tram stop "Dworzec Główny Tunel" (direction: Rondo Mogilskie) and take tram No. 50. Take off at "Borek Fałęcki" stop (terminus, travel time ca. 40 min), walk to nearby bus terminal "Borek Fałęcki" and take a bus going via "Góra Borkowska". Almost all busses operating from this terminal go uphill via Góra Borkowska, nevertheless, please check this on the timetable or ask the driver to be sure. "Góra Borkowska" is the first top on the route. It is an on-demand stop, thus you have to press STOP button when you near traffic lights. After taking off on "Góra Borkowska" walk down eastwards ca. 30 m along ul. Jugowicką, and turn right and follow ul. Armii Kraków street for ca. 200 m. On the five-arm crossroads with ul. Siarczana and ul. Kustronia street turn right into ul. Kustronia and follow ca. 100 m to the corner of ul. Kierzkowskiego, where our consultancy is located. The main entrance is located in ul. Alternatively, from the "Borek Fałęcki" tram stop (terminus) you may walk to our consultancy, which means ca. 15 min walk, mainly along a busy street. Walk uphill along ul. Zakopiańska, cross to the other side at traffic lights, walk down eastwards ca. 30 m along ul. Jugowicką, and turn right and follow ul. Armii Kraków street for ca. 200 m. On the five-arm crossroads with ul. Siarczana and ul. Kustronia street turn right into ul. Kustronia and follow ca. 100 m to the corner of ul. Kierzkowskiego, where our consultancy is located. The main entrance is located in ul. Kierzkowskiego. We have a lift platform for people with impaired mobility. Please let us know if you need to use it.

How to arrive by car?

Our consultancy is located 1-2 km toward Krakow center from motorway junctions "Kraków Południe - Zakopiańska" oraz "Kraków Łagiewniki" on the A4.

Arriving from the East (Rzeszów, Tarnów, Bochnia) take off at the A4 junction "Kraków Łagiewniki", on the next traffic lights turn left to ul. Podmokła street. After driving under a railroad bridge turn left to the 3rd (ul. Siarczana) or 4th (ul. Armii Kraków) street - both will lead you to a five-arm crossroads with our street street (ul. Kustronia) as shown on the map above. Turn left - after a 100 m you're at your destination.

Arriving from the West (Wrocław, Opole, Katowice, Kraków Airport) take off at the A4 junction "Kraków Południe - Zakopiańska", after you pass the 2nd traffic lights turn right after a bus bay to ul. Ciechocińska street. After 30 meters turn left into ul. Kierzkowskiego street. Our consultancy is located at the first crossroads (ul. Kierzkowskiego with ul. Kustronia).

In the residential area around our consultancy parking is free along the streets. High occupancy of the parking lots may happen from time to time, therefore, sometimes it may turn difficult to park in the immediate vicinity. Nevetheless, your should be able to find a parking lot within a 100-200 m walking distance.
